Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral is in Cape Canaveral, with the usual pre-cruise hotels in Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, and the port area. Orlando is the airport many guests fly into. Orlando is not the port.

A delivery that lands at an Orlando hotel the night before a Canaveral sailing often arrives after the guest has already left for the coast — or never meets them at all.

Terminal vs hotel vs ship

The terminal is a restricted port. “Port Canaveral” as a delivery line is not the same as a florist who takes orders for a specific terminal or has a pier process they can point to.

Hotel drop works when the hotel is one embarking passengers actually use — Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, or a port-area property — and the guest is there to receive it. Name the hotel. Name the guest. Name the night.

Ship delivery is the cruise line’s cabin program or a documented pier vendor. It is not a substitute for a hotel name you do not have.

Cutoff realities

The drive from Orlando International is long enough that same-morning surprises fail. If the guest is staying on the coast the night before, an evening hotel drop is the realistic passenger path. If they fly in the morning of embarkation, a hotel drop has nowhere to go.

If the ship has already sailed

Coastal hotels will not forward flowers to a ship at sea. Treat a missed sailing as a lost delivery unless the seller has a written hold-or-refund rule.
